Mindfulness + Somatic Based Coaching

 Coaching is a process of empowering and engaging individuals in a way that elicits conversation, self-discovery and goal setting. Together, we explore the physical, emotional, mental, social, spiritual, and occupational dimensions of life. Through the process of coaching, you have the opportunity to connect the best of who they are to where they want to be in life. We explore your unique interests, motivation, values, strengths and capabilities. Sessions may include a focus on various mind-body skills if desired, such as imagery, hypnosis and meditation. As your coach, Jenn supports your emerging visions and goals, and may offer and teach strategies that will support your process and continued growth.

Cerrada De Caderas/ Closing of the Bones Ceremony

Closing of the bones or “Cerrada de Caderas” is a traditional mesoamerican tradition primarily used for women during the postpartum period at the conclusion of the “Cuarentena” (40 days of healing post birth).


This ceremony is done to help the mother energetically, emotionally and physically seal or close this important transition in her life. 

While this is ceremony is traditional postpartum, it can be very supportive to all people after a traumatic experience such as an accident, surgery, or a transitional time in their life. 


This ceremony is deeply healing after the loss of a baby, a hysterectomy, or where fertility problems present themselves. It can be done at any point in life, with people who haven’t given Birth but wish to close something else in their life.


Part of your session will include a modified version of a womb massage (sobada), a closing of energetic spaces along the body by using rebozos or “manta.” 

Each ceremony is different and may include additional tools and techniques such as herbal teas, cacao, music, light drumming, guided meditation etc. 

Intuitive Somatic Yin Yoga or Restorative Yoga

Yoga is the union of the mind and body. The practice of yoga includes breath control, simple meditation, and postures that are widely practiced for health and relaxation. As an Integrative health practitioner, Jenn see’s the value in learning how to move the body in a way that helps release tension without causing injury to the body. Jenn uses her yoga training  to teach you techniques that can help you connect  to your body and begin moving on a regular basis.

This service is perfect for people seeking support with digestion, painful menstruation, fertility, stress carried in the belly area, etc. How does belly/womb care help with digestion, menstruation, fertility, and stress? This technique is a wonderful way to help optimize how your body functions. It is based on the ancient Mayan Techniques of abdominal touch. This is an external, gentle manipulation that helps to reposition internal organs of the digestive and reproductive system. Repositioning organs helps to restore healthy and optimal blood flow, lymph, nerve, and energy flow within the body. It helps to support the bodies natural healing capacity to prevent disease and restore balance within the body. How does the treatment protocol differ for endometriosis, PCOS, unexplained infertility, male factor, etc? Sessions are often similar for various diagnosis’s because we are helping to release restrictions and restore proper flow in the body. We will focus primarily on the belly, low belly and hips. I follow my intuition and I may spend more time on various problem areas depending on what the particular client is experiencing that day. Ideas on ways to support their own daily self care will also vary from client to client.
